Roy A. Sabuco

Senior and Managing Partner

Mr. Sabuco has practiced law for 42 years primarily in Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Kankakee counties and now concentrates exclusively in the representation of clients in family law matters and mediation. Representative clients include doctors, professionals and business owners as well as parents involved in disputed custody and parenting issues.
He is the Senior and Managing Partner of the firm. Mr. Sabuco is a 1970 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in Business Management, Psychology and Economics. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1973 and is licensed in all Illinois Courts and Federal Court.
Mr. Sabuco has attained a Peer Review Rating of Distinguished – very high in both legal ability and ethical standards from Lexis Nexis and Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of Will County, Grundy County and LaSalle County Bar Associations as well as the Illinois State Bar Association. He is a past member of the American Bar Association, The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the American Judicature Society. While practicing criminal law, Mr. Sabuco was certified by the Supreme Court as a member of the Capital Litigation Bar and served on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Ad Hoc Advisory Committee to Revise Criminal Justice Standards in Illinois. Mr. Sabuco received his mediation training at DePaul University and is available to provide mediation services in Family Law matters in all counties.


Alexander H. Beck

Alexander H. Beck is one of the founding partners of the law firm Sabuco, Beck, Hansen, Massino, and Pollack, P.C

Mr. Beck has devoted his practice to Criminal Law, including misdemeanor and felony charges; Traffic Law, including aggravated traffic and DUI; and Secretary of State administrative hearings.

Mr. Beck was certified by the Illinois Supreme Court as a Capital Litigation Specialist and has defended numerous death penalty cases.

Currently a significant part of Mr. Beck’s practice is concentrated in Family Law matters, including divorce, post decree, paternity, child support, visitation and custody. He has experience in all of these areas of the law.

Michelle N. Hansen is a full partner at Sabuco, Beck, Hansen, Massino, and Pollack, P.C and has been practicing law in the Joliet area for 31 years.

Ms. Hansen has a wealth of experience and her current practice includes Family Law, Criminal Law, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, Traffic/DUI, Adoption, Guardianship, Will/Trusts, Probate, Real Estate-Residential and Commercial.

Ms. Hansen is a member of the Will County Bar Association, Grundy County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Ms. Hansen also worked with the Will County Public Defender’s office as a Supervisor for 25 years.

Mr. Massino graduated from Thomas M. Cooley in 1985. He was an Assistant State Attorney in Grundy County from 1985-1987. The attorney for the City of Morris from 1993-2001 and Grand Ridge attorney 1994-2010.  He is a member of Kendall, La Salle, Will County & American Bar Association Illinois,  Trial Lawyers Associations, & The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.


Zachary Pollack

Zachary Pollack graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005. He returned home to work at the Will County Public Defender’s Office in order to gain trial experience. After three years at the Public Defender’s Office, he joined our firm. Mr. Pollack believes honest communication with the client is the most important aspect of the attorney-client relationship.

Mr. Pollack became a partner in November 2013.
